Meet your Lifeguard: Elizabeth
We are happy to welcome Elizabeth back for a second season as the pool manager and primary lifeguard! A recent graduate of Huntingtown High School, Elizabeth spent her senior year taking a few classes at the College of Southern Maryland and volunteering her time encouraging special needs children to participate in school sports programs. This fall she will be attending the College of Southern Maryland full time to pursue her dream of becoming a Math Teacher. When asked how she felt about coming back to Shipwright this year she said, "Ever since preparing for finals, I have been looking forward to being back at Shipwright!"

We attempt to have few rules so you may have a hassle free experience. One rule we do have, is slipholders must be present when guests are on site. Please understand that if all slipholders told guests to come to the marina anytime, the facility would be too crowded. This rule is in effect to ensure an enjoyable experience for all slipholders.

Launching your Dinghys: As easy as Load, Pull, Launch
Our new dinghy launch is in place and ready for use at the corner of B and C Docks. Simply follow the steps below for a peek into just how easy it will be to enjoy your dinghy's this summer. Or if you'd like, give us a call by Friday afternoon to have your dinghy launched and waiting for you at the dock for your weekend trip or creek cruise.

Step 1. Remove your dinghy from the rack and load it onto the dinghy dolly.
Step 2. Let the dolly do the work and walk your dinghy over to the launch ramp.
Step 3. Roll the dolly down the ramp, unload your dinghy from the dolly, and splash it next to the dock. If you need assistance with any of the steps in this process give us a call and we will lend a hand. And please be courteous and return the dolly after each use!
