June Events

Free Beer Fridays

June 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
4 pm - 8 pm


An assortment of beer will be available every Friday at the pool, and a volleyball net will be ready for set up should anyone want to play!

Pig Roast Luau

Saturday, June 16th
5pm - 11pm

 

Meet us at The Point for a Luau complete with a roast pig and music by the South Creek Boys. Wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt and feel free to bring a dish!

4th of July Celebrations

Saturday, June 30th
5pm - 10:30pm

Join us for a fun-filled early celebration of the 4th of July. Enjoy classic hamburgers and hotdogs and live music, then make your way out to the Bay for the Chesapeake Beach Fireworks. Rain date is July 3rd during Herrington Harbour South’s firework celebration. More details to come!

Baltimore Bound

     Looking for a great weekend getaway? Get underway and head up the Bay to Fells Point, Baltimore. 
     We’ve done this a few times now, and it has always been a great trip and an enjoyable stay. Easy to get to, and we make it in 4 hours or so, cruising at 9 knots or so.  Besides having fun at Fells Point, there’s lots of interesting things to see along the trackline.

New Features at The Point


This summer we've added a few things to make The Point an even more enjoyable gathering place. The two most significant being a firepit and a set of comfortable swinging chairs. See below for basic instruction on how to get the most out of these two new features!
To turn on the firepit, simply turn the dial to your desired time. That's it! Once time is up the firepit will automatically turn off. Just repeat the process for as long as you want it on.
Just be sure to let the propane breathe off in between ignitions and keep a safe distance when igniting. 
On the swings you'll notice two levers. This one just under your seat adjusts how reclined your seat is.
This lever, located above you, adjusts the angle of the sunshade. Sit back and relax in this comfortable seating option.
