This Past Weekend at Shipwright

Last Free Beer & Wine Friday, Seafood Festival and Pool Closing

The last weekend of the Summer was an event filled weekend to remember. The food was wonderful, the weather was perfect and can’t beat live music by our very own South Creek Boys.

We finished off the last Free Beer & Wine Friday with a bang, the Seafood Festival was a perfect day to celebrate our wonderful community of slipholders and the pool will reopen on Saturday for the dog swim.

The crabs and low country boil were delicious and want to thank everyone that helped set up, cook and brought a dish to share. The staff at Shipwright is beyond thankful for your generous gifts.

Our dogs have watched us enjoy the pool all summer and now its their turn. Let your furry four-legged friends enjoy a swim in the pool and do some doggy paddling.

Discounted Boat Show Tickets

It’s almost everyone’s favorite time of the year- boat show season! Stop by the office to purchase your discounted tickets. As an exhibitor, we can obtain advanced tickets prior to the show for slipholders.

Powerboat Show: October 3-6
Sailboat Show: October 10-14

Discounted Ticket Prices
Preview Day- $20 each ($35 at the gate)
Regular Admission- $9 each ($18 at the gate)

Stop by and see us or refer your friends to our booth. If they move their boat to Shipwright, you and them will receive a 5% discount on next year's slip fees!

Now Accepting Winter Storage Work Orders

Our yard is filling up! If you plan on storing your boat on land this winter, submit a work order today to reserve your spot and get on the schedule.

Our lift can accommodate the following dimensions:

Maximum LOA: 40'
Maximum Beam: 13' 6"
Maximum Draft: 7'
Maximum Weight: 27,000 pounds or 13.5 tons

Hauling Across the Creeks

As much as we want to accommodate everyone, we do have limitations with our lift and size of the yard. Fortunately, we are next door neighbors to one of the best boat yards on the east coast. If your boat exceeds our size limitations, or we fill up before we are able to accommodate you, Herrington Harbour North offers storage with water and electric within 50 feet of every boat. They offer their services and rates comparable to ours.

Hagan's Marine Service

Your one stop shop for winterization is right here on site. Hagan can winterize your engine and water system and shrink-wrap the boat so you're safe and sound for winter. Call Hagan's Marine to talk about other projects you wish to line up for the winter.

Bob on the Move!

Baltimore

Bob had the best time sending Summer off in style with an event filled weekend and his favorite slipholders. He is leaving town to escape his least favorite event, the dog swim. Heading North to Baltimore for the week.

He booked a slip at the Harbor East Marina. Great walking distance to top notch restaurants, shops, Concert Pavilion and National Aquarium (for dinner). If time allows, he plans on stopping by the TrawlerFest to see what it’s all about.

For the highlight of his stay, he will be attending the Browns vs Ravens football game on Sunday. He will be wearing purple and supporting the hometown team. Follow along to see where Bob is headed next!
